Back To School: 4 Tips To Ease Into The Academic Year

Back to School, Without the Stress
Back to school season always sneaks up quickly – and it is not always a welcome surprise! While getting the kids back into a routine may sound like a dream, the planning and prepping tit takes can quickly add up. Here are 4 simple but practical tips to start off the new school year without breaking the bank!
Start with a checklist
Avoid duplicate purchases by taking stock of what you already have. Pull out all the items hanging around from years gone by – you may be surprised how many things are already hanging around and are already usable.
Shop second hand where possible
Uniforms, books and even tech devices can often be bought pre-loved and in great condition. Link in with online groups or even by asking the school if there are any programmes in place to purchase second hand items.
Spread the cost
If you can, start shopping early and spread purchases across pay cycles. Even if this year feels tight, use this as your springboard for the next academic year by picking up staple items (like pens, copies, and folders) whenever you spot them on sale.
Use your Credit Union
