As part of our ongoing commitment to the community, The Lough Credit Union is happy to offer external visits to local businesses, schools, and community organisations.

Our friendly team can visit your organisation to:

• Explain Credit Union membership and how to join

• Talk through our lending options in a clear, practical way

• Answer questions about saving, borrowing, and financial wellbeing

• Provide one-to-one support and guidance where appropriate

These visits are designed to be informative, informal, and supportive, helping people better understand how their local credit union can support them at every stage of life.

The Credit Union Art Competition caters for all ages ranging from 7 years & under to 18 years & over, across all corners of the island of Ireland.

This competition requires entrants to draw or paint posters using pencil, charcoal, pen or ink, felt tip marker, crayon, pastel, water colours, gouache, acrylics, oils, poster colour or collage.

The Lough Credit Union is delighted to announce the return of the Schools Quiz 2026, part of the nationwide Credit Union quiz series that brings fun, learning, and friendly competition to primary schools across the country.

Team Categories

Each school is invited to enter a maximum of two teams, (one from each category):

Team A – Under 11

• Pupils aged 10 or younger on 31st December 2025

Team B – Under 13

• Pupils aged 12 or younger on 31st December 2025

The Schools Quiz is a fantastic opportunity for students to work together, build confidence, and put their general knowledge to the test in a fun and supportive environment.
