If you have not completed a transaction within the last 3 years, your account will go into dormancy. However, if your account does go dormant it is quick and easy to get back up and running!

Pop into your local branch with the following documentation and a completed transaction to reactivate it. Once your account is reactivated, you will have access to our free online banking and app.

Reactivating a
Single Account

  • Proof of ID: Passport or Drivers Licence (must be in date)

  • Proof of Address: Utility bill, bank statement or social welfare document (must be dated within the last 3 months)

  • Proof of PPSN: Payslip (dated within 3 months), GP visit card, medical card, European health insurance card or Revenue correspondence.

  • We cannot accept a PPSN Card as proof of PPSN.

Reactivating a
Minor Account

  • Proof of ID: Child’s Birth cert or passport & parent’s passport or drivers licence (must be in date).
  • Proof of Parent’s Address: Utility bill, bank statement or social welfare document (must be dated within the last 3 months)

  • Proof of Parent’s Address: Utility bill, bank statement or social welfare document (must be dated within the last 3 months)

  • We cannot accept a PPSN Card when proving PPSN for minors or their parent in reactivation.

Reactivating a
Joint Account

  • Proof of ID for both parties: Passport or Drivers Licence (must be in date)

  • Proof of Address for both parties: Utility bill, bank statement or social welfare document (must be dated within the last 3 months)

  • Proof of PPSN for both parties: Payslip (dated within 3 months), GP visit card, medical card, European health insurance card or Revenue correspondence.

  • We cannot accept a PPSN Card as acceptable PPSN proof for either party.
