Death Benefit Insurance

Death Benefit Insurance is a unique service offered by some Credit Union’s designed to help ease the cost of funeral expenses.

DBI provides life cover to our members as an addition to our Life Savings Insurance. The Lough Credit Union want to reduce the burden of bereavement costs giving you and your family added relief from financial worry.

As a member, you are eligible for this cover provided you have joined before turning 70 years of age, have been eligible for insurance cover under the life savings policy and have a minimum share balance of €200 at date of death.
