Art Competition

The Lough Credit Union calls for entries to the 2023 art competition! The Competition enters its 40th year with over 30,000 entries received each year!

The theme for the 2023 Credit Union Art Competition is ‘My Community & Me’  The competition is one of the most prominent and longest-running competitions of its type across Ireland. The competition has no age limits and is open for children aged seven years & under right through to 18 years & over. There are two overall categories – General Category & Additional Needs Category.

We would like to see our artists to consider their local community and their place within. What makes their community different? Is it the people within it? Is it the beauty they see every day? We look forward to seeing how our budding artists interpret the theme.

The closing date to submit finished entries is Friday 14th of October 2023.

Competition Entrant Rules

Entries must be on landscape in A3 or A2 format on paper or board.

Entries are required to be returned to us by Friday 14th October 2023.
